Friends- Vintage Affections Sentiments

Happy Saturday! Hoping your New Year is off to a great start.  With CHA just around the corner (next week), I know exciting things are on the horizon for so many us who cannot wait to see all the new Little Darlings products coming out!  Some members of the Design Team will be in California to share the latest rubber stamps and die releases so if you are going, please be sure to stop by and maybe participate in the fun "make and takes" that the team will be providing!

 Vintage Affections - "Friends"

Today I am sharing a card I made using one of the Vintage Affections "Friends" sentiment stamp sets. These are just fabulous sentiment stamps and ALL of them are already cut and mounted on foam backing with the picture of the image right on top of the stamp! How easy is that.  I love that each set has many sentiments on a particular theme (this one is "friendship") and they all have little touches that give them a "vintage" flair. Each set includes 8 rubber stamps that vary in size & design, and I chose this largest one to be the focal point of my card!
I just love when a sentiment or a die cut/floral spray becomes the focal point of a card. So often there is an occasion where you either do not have the time to color an image or you want the sentiment rather than an image to take center stage.   Also for those who do not color stamped or digital images, using sentiments as a focal point allows one to create equally lovely cards with all the embellies and die cuts as cards/projects that feature colored images.  These stamps are also great for altered art, canvas and journals.

I love seeing projects that feature sentiments in all different ways, whether as a focal point or cut apart on a journal or art canvas. Hoping you will share your LDRS makes on our Facebook page.   For more details, visit my blog HERE.  Have a great day!
